Call to the International Community for Immediate Intervention to Prevent the Syrian People from Enduring the Same Fate as the Armenian People

The Ramgavar Liberal Party’s Regional Board in Lebanon has issued a statement condemning the actions of Turkish armed forces in Syria. The statement reads:

We call upon the international community for immediate intervention so that the population of Syria does not suffer the same fate as the Armenian people. Once again, the genocidal Turk is attempting to crush the will of peoples who have chosen to live freely. Again, there are attempts to seize lands that do not belong to them under the pretext of creating a 'safe zone.'

The Ramgavar Liberal Party’s Regional Board in Lebanon strongly condemns the Turkish military's assault on Syrian territory. The historical regions, which have provided refuge to the remnants of the Armenian people who escaped the genocide, and their innocent inhabitants are being bombed by a bloodthirsty army under the guise of uprooting terrorism. Meanwhile, Turkey is a primary terrorist state and the patron of those terrorists who turned the innocent movement of the Syrian heroic people, seeking reforms, into a bloody and endless war.

We join our voice with all parties condemning this Turkish military intervention, which ultimately kills numerous innocent civilians, including Armenian residents of war-torn regions, and is also causing the forced displacement of thousands.

On this occasion, we call upon the international community to intervene immediately and decisively so that the residents of the region do not endure the fate that befell the Armenian people more than a century ago, with the complicity of the silence of the same international family.
