Azerbaijan's Anti-Armenian Strikes Continue: Ashotyan

Azerbaijan's anti-Armenian propaganda attacks are not limited to Russia and CIS countries, and during this time, the Armenian authorities demonstrate a pronounced anti-national approach. This was mentioned by the Vice President of the Republican Party of Armenia, Armen Ashotyan, in his Facebook post. Below is his post:

“Azerbaijani propaganda's anti-Armenian strikes are not confined to Russia and the CIS. Recently, a propaganda booklet filled with such false arguments has been intensively distributed also in European institutions in Brussels. There are several prerequisites, according to Azerbaijani analysis, that need to be addressed amidst such a widespread assault:

  1. The Republican Party, which is based on the ideology of Nzhdeh, is no longer in power and is not represented in parliamentary delegations, which is an opportune occasion for such propaganda.
  2. The character and teachings of Garegin Nzhdeh are not solely the property of the Republicans but are a crucial element of maintaining Armenian identity and strengthening statehood, the weakening of which will inevitably undermine national resilience.
  3. The new authorities of Armenia have exhibited a distinctly anti-national behavior during this time, striking at crucial institutions: the army, the church, the family.

In this created situation, Armenia's foreign policy officials, including the National Assembly, must be prepared to fully counter Azerbaijani anti-propaganda, armed with knowledge and facts, in order to avoid future improvisations. These strikes are not only against the Republicans; the target is Armenia itself.”
