Turkey's Defense Ministry Reports Death of '550 Terrorists' in Syria

Turkey's Defense Ministry has released a statement regarding the ongoing military operation named 'Peace Spring' in northern Syria. According to Hurriyet, the statement specifically mentions: 'The number of neutralized terrorists from the Kurdish Workers' Party in the ongoing 'Peace Spring' operation in Syria has reached 550.'

It is noted that on October 9, Turkey announced the beginning of a military operation in Syria, which has already led to strikes on the Syrian cities of Tal Abyad, Ras al-Ayn, and other localities. The objective is to cleanse the area of PKK terrorists, create a security zone, and resettle 3-4 million Syrian refugees there.
