Photos: Aftermath of Typhoon Hagibis in Japan
The death toll from the floods and landslides caused by Typhoon Hagibis in Japan has reached 39, according to Kyodo News Agency. Earlier reports indicated 33 fatalities.
Additionally, 17 people are reported missing, and 189 others have been injured, NHK reports. The broadcaster stated that approximately 136,000 homes are without water and around 4,300 are without electricity.
