Erdogan Has Departed for Azerbaijan

The President of Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, has departed for Azerbaijan. This was reported by Azerbaijani media, noting that Erdogan will participate in the 7th summit of the Cooperation Council of Turkic-Speaking States (Turkic Council) in Baku.

It is mentioned that Erdogan will hold bilateral meetings with the leaders of member countries of the council while in Baku. Prior to his visit, the Turkish president stated in a conversation with reporters that he will first meet with "his Azerbaijani brother, Ilham Aliyev" before attending the summit.
