Are You With Us or the Terrorists? NATO Doesn’t Support Turkey, Erdogan

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has stated that NATO does not support Turkey in its military operations in Syria, thus putting the country in a difficult position: either to stand with Ankara or to "join the terrorists," according to Anadolu Agency.

“We are a NATO member, and the alliance’s charter includes Article 5, which calls for a response to any member state that is under threat of attack. We are under threat of a terrorist attack, and according to Article 5, NATO should be with us. Are you with us, or with the terrorists? There has been no concrete answer yet,” Erdogan said, adding that leaders of European countries he has recently spoken with, such as German Chancellor Angela Merkel and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, are under "disinformation pressure."

Recall that on October 9, Turkey announced the start of military operations in Syria, during which the country has already struck the Syrian towns of Tal Abyad, Ras al-Ain, and other locations. The goal is to clear the area of YPG terrorists, create a safe zone, and settle 3-4 million Syrian refugees there.
