Video: Bear Trapped in Vayots Dzor

On October 12, at 07:28, the emergency service received a call that a bear was trapped in a cage in the village of Karaglukh, Vayots Dzor province. Rescuers were needed on-site.

An operational group from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' regional crisis management center was dispatched to the scene. It was found that the bear's paw was stuck in the metal fence of a property.

Employees of the Nature Protection and Cultural Values Preservation Fund sedated the bear and, with the help of the rescuers, relocated it to a safe area.
