Yekaterinburg-Yerevan Flight Delayed Due to Koltsovo Airport Closure

The Armenian Civil Aviation Committee has issued information regarding the Yekaterinburg-Yerevan flight schedule.

"On October 10, 2019, an An-12 military aircraft made an emergency landing at Koltsovo Airport in Yekaterinburg. The airport is closed for some time following the emergency landing. As a result of the closure of Koltsovo Airport, the Yekaterinburg-Yerevan flight has been delayed.

It is reported that, according to preliminary information, the Ural Airlines flight SVR 2949 from Yekaterinburg to Yerevan, scheduled for October 10, 2019, will be delayed, and the aircraft will arrive in Yerevan at 21:24 local time on October 10, 2019. The SVR 2950 Yerevan-Yekaterinburg flight will operate at 21:55 local time on October 10, 2019.

Passengers on the Ural Airlines flight SVR 2950 Yerevan-Yekaterinburg have been notified of the flight delay, and according to IATA regulations, the airline will provide refreshments after a 2-hour delay, meals after a 4-hour delay, and hotel accommodations if the delay exceeds 8 hours," the Committee reports.
