Live: Cabinet Meeting Begins
The government of the Republic of Armenia, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, is holding its regular session today, October 10. The agenda includes 48 items, of which 29 are non-reporting and two are confidential.
Among the issues included in the government meeting agenda are the following:
- On the dismissal of Tigran Sarkisyan from the position of Governor of Vayots Dzor Province.
- Approval of the proposal to sign the Convention on the Transfer of Execution of Non-Custodial Sentences among Participants of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
- Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia on State Pensions.
- Proposal regarding amendments to the Law of the Republic of Armenia on the Remuneration of Persons Holding State Positions and State Service Positions.
- Approval of the proposal to sign the grant agreement “Gyumri Urban Roads: Tranche B” between the Republic of Armenia, the Gyumri City Hall, and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
- On granting land for construction rights to the charitable organization “Good Mama” without a competitive bidding process.
- Agreement on the establishment of a joint engineering unit for humanitarian demining among the armed forces of the participating states of the Commonwealth of Independent States.
- On establishing a centralized accounting procedure for cases of domestic violence.
