System of a Down Rock Band to Perform in Armenia

The renowned rock band System of a Down will hold a concert in Armenia in June 2020. This was announced by the band's lead vocalist, Serj Tankian, during a press conference held on October 9 in Yerevan as part of the ongoing WCIT-2019.

'We are currently on a concert tour in Europe. We are planning to come to Armenia in June next year,' said Tankian. The musician did not specify whether the concert would be closed or open air.

The world-famous System of a Down performed a concert in Yerevan's Republic Square on April 23, 2015, dedicated to raising awareness of the Armenian Genocide, under the title 'Wake Up the Souls'. During the concert, the band showcased unique creations.
