It Is Unacceptable to Keep a Person with Such Illnesses in Custody, Says Grigoryan's Lawyer
Lawyer Levon Baghdasaryan has stated, “Former MP, Lieutenant General Manvel Grigoryan has seen the emergence of several secondary illnesses in addition to his two primary health conditions.” He noted that his client’s legs are now functioning only 20-30 percent, and his health is deteriorating daily. According to Baghdasaryan, the street justice operating in the country poses a danger both to Manvel Grigoryan's health and the course of the trial.
Referring to Health Minister Arsen Torosyan’s statement that Grigoryan is under the ministry's attention and is not in life-threatening danger, Baghdasaryan remarked that this is already a subjective approach and emphasized once again: “It is unacceptable to keep a person with such illnesses in custody.”
