Video: Mobile Phone Stolen from Backpack, Theft Solved

On October 3, at 21:30, a 68-year-old woman reported to the Central Police Department that on the same day, her mobile phone was stolen from her backpack in the area between Northern Avenue and Republic Square.

The police reported that two hours after the report, officers from the Anti-Pickpocketing Division of the Yerevan City Police detained a 43-year-old man from Dro Street, suspected of committing the theft, at Republic Square. He provided a confession.

The stolen item has been recovered. Materials are being prepared for further proceedings.
