VIDEO: 63-Year-Old Man Commits Sexual Acts Against 12 and 13-Year-Old Girls

The Main Criminal Investigation Department of the Police received operational information regarding a man who committed sexual violence against a minor girl in Musaler village of the Armavir region. This was reported by the Police of Armenia.

The police verified the authenticity of the information and identified the victim and the suspect. According to operational details, the 63-year-old man provided shelter to a girl in an underprivileged situation and her mother about three years ago.

Taking advantage of the girl's vulnerable situation and her mother's absence during 2016-2017, the man repeatedly committed sexual acts against her.

The victim and her mother were summoned to the police station. In the presence of a psychologist and a teacher, the 12-year-old girl recounted her ordeal to the police. A report was accepted from the girl's mother.

Further measures revealed that the 63-year-old man also committed sexual acts against the friend of the girl who had been invited to his home. The 13-year-old girl, who was invited to the police station, also presented her case to the authorities. Her mother filed a report about the crime.

Thanks to the operational-search measures taken by various police units, the whereabouts of the suspect were established. He was found at his workplace on September 21 and was taken to the Vagharshapat police station on suspicion of committing sexual violence against minors.

Based on the circumstances of the case, a criminal case has been initiated under Article 139, Part 3, Clause 2 of the Criminal Code of Armenia. The 63-year-old man has been arrested, and the investigation is ongoing.
