The Battle Between BHK and My Step Has Begun
According to the newspaper "Jagovourd", the BHK has finally broken its long silence and, after extensive internal discussions, announced yesterday that it will not participate in the voting regarding the suspension of the Constitutional Court President's powers in the National Assembly.
"Jagovourd" has reported that there have been numerous meetings between Prime Minister Pashinyan and Gagik Tsarukyan recently. And as it appears, it was not possible to reach a consensus on this matter, and the real battle between BHK and My Step began since yesterday.
Tsarukyan stated that the bases of this proposal are weak. The members of BHK essentially consider that this bill is legally flawed and unfounded. Meanwhile, those from My Step counter that the true opposition should have supported the initiative to overthrow Hrayr Tovmasyan.
In a conversation with the newspaper, members from My Step expressed confidence that there would be deputies from BHK who would participate and vote in favor. Our sources indicate that the ruling team has received BHK's stance very poorly and has decided to mercilessly criticize this opposition faction.
Member of the ruling faction Sipan Pashinyan stated in an interview with "Jagovourd" that it is unacceptable for any political force not to participate or abstain from voting on such an important issue for the state. He does not accept this position of the second political force.
