Pashinyan and Vladimir Putin Discuss Gas Prices
During a bilateral meeting held yesterday, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the topic of gas prices. However, it is clear that it is not the responsibility of the two countries' leaders to reach an agreement on gas prices, said the press secretary of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Vladimir Karapetyan, in an interview with Aysor.am.
“Nevertheless, it pertains to economic entities, and it would be more appropriate for these discussions to be shaped as a result of their negotiations,” he stated.
Vladimir Karapetyan also informed that one of the two meetings between Pashinyan and Putin lasted about 1.5 hours, while the other lasted approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Referring to the invitation extended by President Putin for an official visit to Armenia, Vladimir Karapetyan indicated that the invitation was only received yesterday, and it is still early to discuss the timing of a visit to Moscow. “When the agencies receive instructions from the government, they will prepare for that visit,” noted the press secretary of the Prime Minister.
