On October 2, a solemn oath-taking ceremony for first-year students of the Police Academy, college, and training center took place at the Sardarapat memorial site, attended by Acting Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan.

High-ranking officials first laid flowers at the monuments of soldiers who fell during the Artsakh Liberation War and to the founder of the First Armenian Republic, Aram Manukyan, after which the oath-taking ceremony commenced.

About 100 students took the oath in the presence of Acting Chief of Police Arman Sargsyan, Governor of Armavir region Hambartsum Matevosyan, Mayor of Armavir David Khudatyan, Deputy Chief of Police Vardan Movsisyan, and the head of the academy Mushegh Babayan.

The Acting Chief of Police delivered a congratulatory speech, urging the future officers to study well and wishing them a successful journey in the vast police family.

The ceremony concluded with a formal march of the academy students and a demonstration by the honor guard of the police troops.

At the end of the event, Arman Sargsyan met with the parents and relatives of the academy students, congratulated them, and asked them to follow their children’s education, assuring them that the future belongs to police officers equipped with knowledge.
