Kremlin Confirms Putin's Meeting with Bella Kocharyan

Russian President Vladimir Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov has confirmed to Interfax that during his visit to Yerevan on October 1, Putin met with Bella Kocharyan, the wife of the detained second President of Armenia, Robert Kocharyan.

"Yes," Peskov said in response to Interfax's question about whether the meeting took place.

It is noteworthy that today the head of the office of the second President of Armenia, Viktor Soghomonyan, also confirmed the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Bella Kocharyan.

"Yes, the meeting took place," Soghomonyan stated.
