«Hraparak». Due to the Vote on Tovmasyan's Powers, PACE Delegates Will Return

«Hraparak» newspaper writes that the Armenian delegates to the PACE are forced to interrupt their trip and return due to the vote on the termination of Hrayr Tovmasyan’s powers, so that they can be present in the National Assembly on the voting day. On Sunday, September 29, the delegates who went to the PACE autumn session were supposed to return on Saturday, as our delegation usually follows that schedule. The National Assembly's website also states that "from September 29 to October 5, they will be on a mission in Strasbourg."

Deputy Head of the National Assembly Staff Lilith Minasyan confirmed the news: “The members of the delegation will return to Armenia on October 3.” When asked if all or part of them would come back, she replied, “All of them.” We inquired with Edmon Marukyan and Naira Zohrabyan about their return date, and they stated they would come back on October 5, Saturday. We asked Marukyan if it is possible to return earlier. “Why should we return early? This has always been the case, and this time we will stay until the end of the sessions,” he said.
