Direct: The Meeting of the EEU Supreme Council Has Begun
The meeting of the Supreme Council of the Eurasian Economic Union has begun in Yerevan, with the leaders of EEU member states, the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the President of Moldova, and the Prime Minister of Singapore arriving in Armenia to participate.
During the narrow-format meeting, issues related to the Eurasian Economic Forum, the presidency and staffing of the Eurasian Economic Commission, and customs duties on goods imported from EEU member countries will be discussed.
The expanded meeting will address the execution of the EEU budget for 2018, the EEU budget for 2020, the concept of forming a unified financial market of the EEU, several internal changes within the EEU, and the location of the next meeting of the Supreme Council.
