Shots Fired from Niva in Pursuit of BMW, Driver Assaulted After Collision

An extraordinary incident occurred in the Ararat region on September 29. Around 1:30 AM, the Artashat police received a report that residents from the village of Norashen in the Ararat region, namely one Hendon with his sons, were pursuing a 24-year-old resident of the village of Arzakan, Hovhannes T. During this pursuit, shots were fired, and upon reaching Hovhannes T., they rammed his BMW vehicle, causing it to overturn.

According to Shamshyan.com, after the collision, the assailants pulled Hovhannes T. from the overturned vehicle and assaulted him, inflicting bodily injuries. Law enforcement agencies have identified Hendon as 51-year-old Henrik K. from Norashen, while the other assailant, Geraas, is a 29-year-old, Garasim B. from the same village. Hendon’s son, 21-year-old Artak K., is also implicated in the incident.

Thanks to the explanatory work of the Ararat police, Artak K. and Garasim B. voluntarily presented themselves at the Artashat police station. The police have also clarified that Hovhannes T.’s BMW had license plates with the number 96 NN 969, and he was pursued by a VAZ 2121 vehicle. The police are taking necessary actions to locate Henrik K. and the weapon used in the crime. Investigative materials are being prepared by the investigative department of the Artashat police, and these materials will be forwarded to the Charentsavan division of the police.
