New Details on Tragic Car Accident: 1 Deceased, 15 Injured

On September 29, at 19:30, the emergency services received a call regarding a traffic accident on the Artani-Karakert highway, where vehicles had collided, resulting in injuries. Rescue services were dispatched to the scene.

A firefighting and rescue team from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was sent to assist. According to preliminary information, there are 15 injured individuals and 1 deceased.

The injured have been hospitalized at medical centers in Talin, Armavir, and Baghramyan. Alina Nikoghosyan, the spokesperson for the Minister of Health, reported on her Facebook page that an additional 3 injured persons were transferred to the Talin Medical Center. One of them has been moved from there to the Armenia Medical Center for specialized neurosurgical examination and treatment.

According to initial data, 13 injured citizens have been transported to various medical facilities as a result of the accident. Their conditions are currently assessed as moderate.
