Cases of Residential Burglary Revealed

On September 24, the Kanaker-Zeytun division of the police received a report that an unidentified individual had entered a foreigner's apartment and stolen a jewelry box containing a 10-gram gold chain. Another report regarding residential burglary was received by the division on September 26. Intruders had entered through an unlocked door and stolen gold jewelry.

On September 28, a citizen reported an attempted burglary at their home. Criminal investigators from the Kanaker-Zeytun division, in collaboration with their counterparts from the Yerevan police department's criminal investigation division, established that the same individual was responsible for all incidents.

A 25-year-old suspect from Hrazdan was identified and apprehended on September 28 by the police. The young man was presented to the territorial investigative body and provided a confession. Efforts to recover the stolen property are ongoing. An investigation is underway.
