Accident Occurs in Lichk Village, Injuries Reported
On September 29, at 21:59, the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations received a call through the "911" service reporting an accident near Lichk village in Gegharkunik Province, with injuries reported and a request for emergency responders.
One firefighting and rescue unit from the regional rescue department was dispatched to the scene.
It was determined that vehicles "UAZ Patriot" (driver: Davit S.) and "VAZ-2121" (driver: Maksim Gh., born in 2001) collided at the 57th kilometer of the Sevan-Martuni section of the M-10 highway. The driver of the "VAZ-2121" vehicle and passengers Sargis S. (born in 2001) and Karen S. (born in 2001) sustained varying degrees of bodily injuries.
The rescuers approached the emergency vehicle to assist the injured, who were subsequently hospitalized at Martuni Medical Center. Doctors evaluated the health condition of the injured as moderate.
The rescue team de-energized the vehicles and closed the gas cylinder valves.
