168 Hours: Nikol Pashinyan Still Unable to Find Method to 'Punish' Sasun Mikayelyan
«168 ժամ»-ը գրում է. Նikol Pashinyan-Sasun Mikayelyan's continued silent conflict may soon escalate. The issue is that Pashinyan does not tolerate those who dare to contradict him or disagree with his viewpoint. The most recent glaring example is Sasun Mikayelyan, who has boldly contradicted him publicly.
It is presumed that Mikayelyan is aware of this. However, according to our information, S. Mikayelyan has stated in his inner circle that he could not have said anything else and, by making such a statement, he primarily defended his position, which those who have not served in the army cannot understand.
According to sources within the My Step faction, Pashinyan has not discussed Mikayelyan's issue within the faction because he does not trust them. Therefore, he has consulted only with a few trusted party members: Hakob Simidyan, Lilit Makunts, Ruben Rubinyan, Tigran Avinyan, and Eduard Aghajanyan.
So far, no options for punishing Sasun Mikayelyan have been identified, as they cannot expel him from the party; first, Mikayelyan is one of the founders of the Party, and second, he has not violated the party's regulations. The next 'punishment' discussed in the power circles is to remove S. Mikayelyan from the EGM presidency, but this is also ruled out since it is an elected body, and currently, there are no opponents to S. Mikayelyan within the EGM.
Thus, Nikol Pashinyan is still unable to find a method to punish the 'disobedient' S. Mikayelyan. More details in today's newspaper issue.
