The leader of the Prosperous Armenia party in the National Assembly, Gagik Tsarukyan, has posted on his Facebook page congratulating Simon Martirosyan on his victory.

“Dear compatriots, this magnificent athlete, Simon Martirosyan, once again gives us infinite pride by becoming the double world champion in weightlifting. I congratulate all of us, and first and foremost Simon, as he moves forward towards great Olympic heights,” Tsarukyan wrote.
