Stabbing Incident During Dispute Over Personal Matters (Video)

On September 24, around 2 AM, the police department in Arabkir received a report from a medical center stating that a 24-year-old man had been admitted with stab wounds to his tailbone and left arm. He had been stabbed.

A forensic examination was appointed. The investigating body took various measures towards solving the case, from composing relevant protocols at the hospital to operational inquiries. Thanks to the diligent work of the law enforcement agencies, the identity of the suspect was established just a day after the report.

Criminal investigators received information that during a dispute over personal matters on Arabkir Street 37, a resident of Gegharkunik Province, aged 23, had inflicted bodily harm on the victim.

On September 25, in collaboration with officers from the Vardenis police department, the suspect was located on Sayadyan Street in Gavar and taken to the Arabkir police department. He has provided a confession. Investigations are ongoing.

Efforts are being made to locate the weapon used in the crime. Materials are being prepared regarding the incident.
