Major Fire in One of Vanadzor's Apartments; Injured Woman in Critical Condition

On September 26 at 04:12, the '911' service received a report about a fire breaking out in one of the apartments of building number 37 in the Taron-2 residential area of Vanadzor, Lori Province.

An operational group from the regional rescue department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) and one fire and rescue unit were dispatched to the scene. At 04:24, the fire was classified as a second-degree complication.

Another fire and rescue unit, along with a ladder truck, was sent to the scene. Rescuers managed to remove 66-year-old Ruzanna T. from the fourth-floor balcony and brought her to the ambulance.

The injured person was hospitalized at the Vanadzor Medical Center, where doctors assessed her condition as critical.

The fire was contained by 04:44 and extinguished by 06:01, but the apartment was completely burned.
