I Discovered Numerous Spelling and Punctuation Errors: Gevorg Emin-Terjan on the Message Regarding YSU's 100th Anniversary Events

Gevorg Emin-Terjan, the press spokesperson of Yerevan State University (YSU), has made another post on his Facebook page, addressing the content of a message released by the University regarding its 100th-anniversary events. He particularly notes that he has discovered numerous spelling and punctuation errors in the text of the message, which he presents.

The complete post is as follows:

“Dear colleagues, this morning you received a very important message on behalf of YSU, which details many important issues that have recently become the subject of public discussion. Since I was entrusted only with sending and posting, I have diligently fulfilled the task assigned to me. Later, upon familiarizing myself with the text, I discovered that there are many spelling and punctuation errors. Please correct the text according to the proposed version.”

Let us recall that yesterday, on September 25, YSU press spokesperson Gevorg Emin-Terjan had made a post on his Facebook page regarding the qualifications of the newly appointed Vice-Rector Arthur Israelian, who is a former classmate of Minister Araik Harutyunyan. He specifically mentioned that the appointed individual makes spelling mistakes in Armenian, does not know English and Russian at all, understands nothing about media and PR, and manages YSU’s centers for Japanese, Korean, and Chinese languages, yet does not speak any of these languages.

Later, YSU announced that there were indeed errors in the previously sent message.
