Hraparak: Tovmasyan is a Disruptive 'Circumstance'

According to the newspaper 'Hraparak': The authorities are in a state of alarm as the impeachment project against Hrayr Tovmasyan will be presented to the Constitutional Court on October 1. They need the votes of six members of the Court, which they currently do not have. They only have three votes - from Vahe Grigoryan, Arman Dilanian, and Felix Tokhyan. However, they are seriously working to persuade the other members. Don't forget that one of the motivations behind Vanetsyan's resignation was precisely to prevent this issue from coming to fruition.

Our source from the Constitutional Court indicated that Tovmasyan will not participate in that session, and there is hope that this will encourage the judges to vote in favor. Additionally, it was mentioned that the conclusion from Venice regarding Kocharyan's case will be available by the end of October.

Will the Constitutional Court manage to address the issue of Hrayr Tovmasyan's resignation by then? 'It is difficult to make time predictions. However, his removal is as necessary to the authorities as air and water, not only regarding Kocharyan's case or the Istanbul Convention but also with the upcoming referendum process on the transition from parliamentary to presidential governance. Tovmasyan is a disruptive 'circumstance',

Details can be found in today’s issue of the newspaper.
