Police Have Identified a Suspect in Regular Theft (Video)

On September 24, detectives from the Central Division of the Police, acting on operational information, apprehended a 32-year-old man from Yerevan suspected of committing thefts in Verin Shengavit.

It was revealed in police custody that the detainee had stolen from a shopping center located on Mashtots Avenue, committed theft twice from another store on Mashtots Avenue, and also stole a bicycle on Koghbatsi Street.

The victims had not reported the crimes to the police; however, after the incidents were uncovered, they were located and provided statements. Measures are being taken to recover the stolen property.

The circumstances of the cases are being investigated.
