MoD Presents Achievements of Units During Drills

On September 25, practical exercises on the theme of preparing for defensive combat were held in the units of the 3rd army corps. Personnel were provided with practical skills for operating more flexibly during combat preparation and execution of assigned combat tasks.

The Armed Forces' Geospatial Service operationally used mobile navigation systems and satellite imagery obtained from remote sensing during the strategic drills to prepare photographic schemes for the precise targeting of missile and artillery units.

For reconnaissance purposes, aerial reconnaissance data was used to create and print photographic plans, while efforts were also made to update and print topographic maps and urban plans.

As part of the strategic drills, units subordinate to the Armed Forces’ Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Protection Administration conducted tasks on detecting, isolating, and neutralizing areas affected by chemical attacks on September 25.
