Economic Activity Indicator Increased by 7%: Avinyan
The Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia, Tigran Avinyan, has made a post on his Facebook page announcing that the economic activity indicator for January to August 2019 has increased by 7% compared to the same period in 2018.
“According to the data from the Statistical Committee of Armenia, the economic activity indicator for January to August 2019 has increased by 7% compared to the same period in 2018. The volume of industrial production has grown by 9.5%, construction volume has increased by 4.4%, retail turnover has risen by 9%, and foreign trade turnover has increased by 2%. In particular, exports have increased by 4.6% while imports have risen by 0.7%,” the statement reads.
