Czech Republic is a Good Partner for Armenia, Says Pashinyan in Meeting with Czech Prime Minister

During a working visit to the United States, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with Czech Prime Minister Andrej Babiš at the UN headquarters. The Prime Minister assured that the Czech Republic is a good partner for Armenia, and Armenia is interested in deepening cooperation both bilaterally and in multilateral formats.

Nikol Pashinyan expressed gratitude for the Czech Parliament's ratification of the Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement between Armenia and the European Union, noting that the agreement aligns with Armenia's reform agenda and its swift ratification will facilitate the effective implementation of that agenda.

Andrej Babiš emphasized that the Czech Republic also values the deepening of mutually beneficial relations with Armenia and is ready to discuss further joint steps in this direction.

During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed the prospects for cooperation in economic areas, including high technology, digitalization, and services.

The Prime Ministers of Armenia and the Czech Republic also exchanged thoughts on cooperation within the European Union, the process of visa liberalization, as well as international and regional developments and challenges.

The Prime Minister of Armenia emphasized the importance of the Czech Republic's balanced position in the peaceful resolution process of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
