Live: Court Hearing Continues for Manvel Grigoryan and His Wife

The court hearing for former Member of Parliament and Lieutenant General Manvel Grigoryan and his wife Nazik Amiryan continues at the Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court, presided over by Judge Mnatsakan Martirosyan.

At the previous court session, the court once again rejected the request to replace Manvel Grigoryan's detention with bail. Manvel Grigoryan is absent from the court hearings, with his defense stating that his absence is due to health issues.

It is noteworthy that Manvel Grigoryan has been charged with illegally obtaining, transferring, and unlawfully possessing firearms, military ammunition, and explosive materials in three of their residences, in agreement with his wife Nazik Amiryan, their son Arman Grigoryan, and other unidentified individuals, while bypassing restrictions outlined in the RA law on Weapons. Additionally, he has been accused of committing various types of theft.

Nazik Amiryan is also charged with illegally acquiring, transferring, and unlawfully possessing firearms, military ammunition, and explosive materials in their residences, in agreement with her husband and son, while also committing various thefts.
