Accident on Lenin Street, Car Caught Fire, One Injured
On September 24, at 02:30, the "911" service received a report that a traffic accident with a fire outbreak occurred near building number 24 on Lenin Street in Yerevan.
Two firefighting teams from the Emergency Situations Ministry's rescue department were dispatched to the scene. It was revealed that a "Nissan Tiida" (driver: Aida H., born in 1991) collided with a "Mercedes-Benz C180" (driver: Hayk A., born in 1987). A fire broke out in the "Mercedes-Benz C180" vehicle.
The fire was contained at 02:47 and extinguished by 02:57. The "Mercedes-Benz C180" was completely burned. Before the rescuers arrived, the driver of the "Nissan Tiida" was taken to Armenia Medical Center, where doctors assessed the injured individual's condition as moderate.
The rescuers approached the driver of the "Mercedes-Benz C180" and he was also taken to Armenia Medical Center, where he received appropriate medical care and was discharged.
The rescuers closed the gas valve of the "Mercedes-Benz C180" and disconnected the power supply of the "Nissan Tiida".
