What Did Tigran Avinyan and the Former Director of a Renowned Company Discuss?
On September 20, Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan received a delegation led by Henri Proglio, a member of the management board of the Spanish company Urbaser and former CEO of the French company Électricité de France. According to the Office of the Deputy Prime Minister, during the meeting, Avinyan addressed the fundamental political and economic changes and reforms that have taken place in Armenia over the past year and a half, the pace of economic growth, improvements in the business and investment environment, and the government's work with investors.
Ramon Rebueltan, head of Urbaser’s international business, presented the areas of the company’s operations, noting that besides Spain, they work in 22 countries around the world. Henri Proglio expressed interest in the opportunity to enter the Armenian market.
During the meeting, the participants discussed the prospects for cooperation in the fields of waste collection and management, transportation, and energy infrastructure.
