Corruption and Criminality in the Past Cast Shadows on State Formation Process, Says Mariam Pashinyan

The Prime Minister's daughter, Mariam Pashinyan, congratulated on the occasion of Armenia's Independence Day through her Facebook page.

“At last, we live in an unparalleled historical period where individual efforts, diligence, personal happiness, and citizens' personal contributions to the development of the state are valued. Previously, propaganda, the ever-present corruption, and criminality overshadowed the efforts that the citizens of the Republic of Armenia dedicated to the establishment and development of our state. I am immensely proud and obligated to have been born in the homeland shaped by Charents, Komitas, Monte, and all the heroes of our time. I congratulate all the proud citizens of Armenia who uphold the honor of Armenia abroad, who create and bring forth in Armenia, and whose work we often do not hear about. Happy holiday to you, my already 28-year independent and sovereign Armenia,” the Prime Minister's daughter wrote.
