VIDEO. Margarita Khachatryan Closes Access to Government Building
Currently, representatives of the families of fallen servicemen are holding a protest in front of the government building. Margarita Khachatryan, the president of the Soldier Coordinating Council, declared an indefinite hunger strike and sat near the government building. The police offered her a chair, but Khachatryan refused, stating, "My son is in the ground; I am no better than him, I will sit on the ground."
Shortly after, L. Avetisyan blocked the way of Human Rights Defender Arman Tatoyan, who was hurrying to a government meeting, saying, "Our issue is directly related to the Prime Minister." Tatoyan advised her to approach him after the government meeting or visit the office of the Human Rights Defender. "It has been more than a month that we have raised this issue, yet there has been no response," she said.
