OSCE Conducts Planned Ceasefire Monitoring in Martuni Region
On September 18, in accordance with the agreement reached with the authorities of the Republic of Artsakh, the OSCE mission conducted a planned monitoring of the ceasefire regime along the contact line of the armed forces of Artsakh and Azerbaijan, specifically in the southeastern Martuni region. This has been reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Artsakh.
The monitoring was carried out by field assistants of the OSCE Chairperson's Personal Representative, Mikhail Olaru (Moldova) and Ognjen Jovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina), from the positions of the Artsakh Defense Army. From the opposite side of the contact line, the monitoring was conducted by the personal assistant Simon Tiller (United Kingdom) and office staff member Martin Schuster (Germany).
The monitoring took place according to the planned schedule. Representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Artsakh accompanied the monitoring mission.
