Video: Ashotyans Comments on the Government’s Stumbles in 100 Facts Presented by the Prime Minister
The Vice President of the Republican Party, Armen Ashotyans, discussed Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan's press conference in a Facebook live stream titled "100 Facts about the Government."
"Under those facts were mostly unserious or technical details. Pashinyan presented what he called the 100 facts of the new Armenia, and if you pay close attention, you will notice that among those 100 facts concerning the government's activities, there was only one mention of foreign policy for a country like Armenia," Ashotyans stated.
According to him, the Prime Minister and the government, who are responsible for Armenia’s security and foreign policy, managed to present only one fact related to foreign policy despite their entire sci-fi potential.
"It is absurd that there are no facts in Armenia's foreign policy related to its relations with the Russian Federation, Iran, the CSTO, or the EAEU. The vacuum in foreign policy within yesterday's facts and the government’s failures are glaringly obvious and contain very bad signals," Ashotyans said.
He also noted the lack of serious references to the Nagorno-Karabakh issue in the list of 100 facts: "One of the mentioned successes was financing a peacekeeping mission by sending NGOs serving the government to Artsakh. The next one was their rally in Stepanakert. Agree that this is at least unserious," Ashotyans declared.
