Vanetsyan Will Provide Explanations About Fabricating Cases Against People on Political Orders: Minasian

Former Ambassador of Armenia to the Holy See Mikayel Minasian has addressed the resignation of NSS Director Arthur Vanetsyan and his recent statements on his Facebook page.

“I’ve been following the Arthur Vanetsyan/Nikol Pashinyan epic. I watched the last interview of the former head of the NSS. I don’t know what ‘many questions’ I am supposed to answer before the law, as I am not aware of any formulated legal inquiries that exist, and as such, they simply do not exist. Instead, there are irresponsible statements and vehement public ‘instructions.’ But we will talk more about this later. Meanwhile, it is Arthur Vanetsyan himself who will soon be forced to provide explanations about fabricating cases against people on political orders, organizing repressive persecutions, being part of the political order that imprisoned the President, and participating in the implementation of terror against various branches of state power, or knowing all of this and failing to speak out about it.

Certainly, leaving the train rolling into the abyss on time and refusing to become more entangled in the events will give Mr. Vanetsyan significant ‘discounts,’ but nonetheless, these questions will be raised and the answers to them will be expected. Undoubtedly, those answers will also be received.

It should be noted that today Arthur Vanetsyan called on people not to associate him with Mikayel Minasian. “Mikayel Minasian is a person who still needs to answer many questions before the laws of Armenia. There will be an investigation, and the investigation will provide an answer as to whether Mikayel Minasian should stand before the law or not,” he stated.
