Irates: Why Was the Order to Launch an Attack from the Armenian Side Delayed During the April War?

Irates newspaper writes: “It is said that the main purpose of the investigative committee in the National Assembly, aimed at revealing the issues of the April war, is to 'clarify' why the order to start an attack from the Armenian side was delayed. 'Are you pointing the finger at Serzh Sargsyan? Do you want to fabricate another case against him to drown out the noise surrounding Amulsar and other issues, and to save Pashinyan's diminishing image? But after all, the April war was the second major victory in Artsakh following the 1990s war. Every millimeter of the battlefield was left with hundreds of thousands of cartridges,' we addressed a member of the committee.

‘There can be no talk of fabricating a case. The committee is doing everything to ensure a balanced approach. That is why we included someone as experienced as Vagharshak Harutyunyan in the committee’s work. Nevertheless, there are also questions regarding the initiation of military operations on that day that need to be clarified so that a precedent will not be repeated,’ the committee member said.
