I Doubt That the Prime Minister Could Give Inappropriate Orders to the Officer: Aghazaryan
Some time must pass and certain things should come to light for us to fully comment on Mr. Vanetsyan's resignation. This is what MP Hovik Aghazaryan from the 'My Step' faction said in an interview with NEWS.am, referring to the resignation of the National Security Service Director Arthur Vanetsyan.
“It is very difficult to comment on all of this because first, the formulations in Mr. Vanetsyan's public statement were a bit unclear, and even if we think at the level of assumption about what he meant, it is still hard to interpret. Some time must pass for certain things to come to light so that we can fully comment on it. I don't have much information,” Aghazaryan stated in the interview.
In the MP's opinion, there were disagreements, after all, that led to the resignation of the NSS director. “Well, if someone is dismissed or resigns, it means there are disagreements between the superior and the subordinate. I strongly doubt that the Prime Minister could give inappropriate orders to an officer,” he added.
