Georgia Bans Entry of US Naval Vessel into Its Waters

Georgia has prohibited the entry of the US Navy's logistics vessel USNS Yuma into its territorial waters, which entered the Black Sea on September 13, according to EADaily.

"The American military vessel USNS Yuma has already been near Georgia's territorial waters for over ten hours, but has not received permission to enter," reports Avia.pro.

One of the reasons cited is the overcrowding of the Poti port. The purpose of the US vessel's entry into the Black Sea remains unclear. USNS Yuma vessels are typically used for the transportation of troops, military equipment, including M1 Abrams tanks, and cargo.
