29 Fires Registered in Grasslands

On September 15, the National Center for Crisis Management of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received 15 alerts regarding fires in various grass-covered areas across the republic, covering approximately 200 square meters and more.

Specifically:

• Yerevan: In the Nubarashen administrative district – 3000 sq.m, in the Avan administrative district – 400 sq.m, in the Kanaker-Zeytun administrative district – 200 sq.m;
• In the Aragatsotn region, in the village of Sasunik – 1000 sq.m;
• In the Ararat region, in the village of Nor Kyurin – 3000 sq.m, along the Vedi-Ararat highway – 1200 sq.m;
• In the Armavir region, in the village of Mrgastan – 5 hectares of harvested grain;
• In the Kotayk region, in the city of Yeghvard – 800 sq.m, in the village of Arinj – 1500 sq.m, in the village of Kanakeravan – 1500 sq.m, and additionally 300 sq.m, in the village of Nor Geghi – 200 sq.m;
• In the Vayots Dzor region, in the city of Yeghegnadzor – 1500 sq.m;
• On the Ashtarak-Gyumri highway – 3000 sq.m.
