Three Cars Collide on David Bek Street, Several Injured
On September 14, at 20:32, the emergency services received a call regarding a traffic accident near building 103 on David Bek Street in Yerevan, indicating that a citizen was trapped and required rescue assistance. A specialized rescue unit from the Ministry of Emergency Situations was dispatched to the scene.
It was found that a collision occurred between three vehicles: a Chevrolet (driver: Hmayak P., born in 1959), a VAZ-2121 (driver: Karapet M., born in 1971), and an Opel Astra G (driver: Levon M., born in 1989).
The passenger of the Chevrolet (Lilya M., born in 1996) was transported to Erebuni Medical Center, where doctors assessed her condition as satisfactory. Rescuers extricated the driver of the Chevrolet, who was hospitalized at Erebuni Medical Center, and after receiving the necessary medical assistance, was discharged.
The rescuers also disconnected the battery of the Chevrolet and closed the gas tank valve.
