Martiros Saryan's Star Installed on the Avenue of Stars in Rostov-on-Don

In Rostov-on-Don, Russia, a ceremonial unveiling of the star dedicated to the renowned Armenian and Soviet painter Martiros Saryan took place today, as reported by Rusarminfo.

The event was attended by Sergey Sayadov, the executive director of the public organization representing the Armenian community in Rostov-on-Don, who highly regarded Aivazovsky's contributions to the preservation of the history and culture of Armenians in Rostov.

It is noted that prior to the unveiling of the star, there was an online vote in which approximately 5,000 people voted in favor of installing Martiros Saryan's star. The star features a paint palette and brush at its center, and already hundreds of visitors have taken photos near the famous artist's star.
