Gunshots Heard Near Nairit Plant

Today at around 01:40, the Shengavit division of the police received a report of gunshots heard near the Nairit plant. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, police have determined that on the same day, at approximately 01:20, the driver of an Opel Astra blocked the path of a VAZ 21099 vehicle driven by 25-year-old Alen K., a resident of the Erebuni district.

Afterward, the driver and one of his companions struck the doors and trunk of the VAZ with a wooden bat and their feet, causing damage. Another individual with them displayed disrespectful behavior towards society, grossly violating public order by firing shots with a weapon at the VAZ 21099.

It was also established that earlier, Alen K.'s vehicle was struck by 32-year-old Arthur B., a resident of 4th Alley in Yerevan, and a 22-year-old resident, Armen B., held the weapon. As a result of explanatory actions taken by the police, these individuals presented themselves at the Shengavit division. Armen B. also submitted a 4.5 mm caliber pneumatic pistol of the Makarov type.

Investigative materials are being prepared at the Shengavit division of the police regarding the incident.
