6-Year-Old Grigor Miraculously Saved After Being Hit by a Car

On August 27, a pedestrian accident occurred in Ashtarak. The child, while going to the store, did not notice the vehicle, leading to this unfortunate incident. The driver did not flee the scene and took the child to Ashtarak Hospital in his own car, from where the child was later transferred to Yerevan's ‘Surb Astvatsamayr’ Medical Center in extremely serious condition.

According to Gevorg Derzyan, the press officer of the medical center, the child was diagnosed with internal bleeding in both the chest and abdominal cavities due to significant liver damage, as well as damage to the kidney and spleen. The boy underwent immediate surgery.

“We are very excited and astonished that we managed to save the child with such complex combined trauma and bleeding,” said Nikolay Dallakyan, the director of ‘Surb Astvatsamayr’ Medical Center.

“We and the doctors were surprised that there were positive changes in him so quickly,” said the child’s father.
