Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Included in Interactive Map of Genocide Memorials

The International Center for the Promotion of Human Rights, with the support of UNESCO, has launched an interactive map dedicated to the memorials of genocides, gross violations of human rights, and atrocities committed against humanity that occurred in various corners of the world during the 20th century.

According to the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial dedicated to the Armenian Genocide, opened in 1967, is also included in the map, along with photographs of commemoration events.

The creators and like-minded individuals aim to raise awareness within the international community through the bilingual website available in English and Spanish, making these memorial sites accessible and preventing future crimes against humanity.
